From Kathmandu to Lukla Airport: 45 minutes journey (fueling time in Lukla is 10-15 minutes)

Best Time for Everest Helicopter Tour
The climate in the Everest Region changes according to the season. But you don't have to worry about having this wonderful experience. Since this tour is for some hours, if the weather is fine at that hour, you can fly around the Everest region.
But if there is heavy rainfall, there's no point in making this trip as you can barely see anything. So we recommend our clients avoid booking this tour during monsoon.

In general, the load limit for the Everest base camp helicopter tour might be 500KG. Helicopter excursion potential is determined by using the weight of an individual in your ride and is a maximum of five people.
