I spent 5 days travelling with my friends on a mind-blowing trip organised by Adventure Altitude Treks - Base Camp of Mount Everest, Cho La Pass, and Gokyo Lakes. It was such a fortune for us to be with Dawa, our guide from Adventure Altitude, company as he made our mountain trekking very much a thrilling experience. He was the one who always gave us safety from instructions every day, but the most challenging time for me was the stay in Cho La.

Island Peak's allure lies in the summit and the breathtaking journey leading to it.  Having previously done the Everest three Passes Trek with AAT, I knew their expertise would be invaluable.  And it was. The trek to Base Camp was a scenic delight.  AAT's knowledgeable guests revealed various flora and fauna, enriching the experience.  The base camp was strategically located, offering stunning panoramas of the surrounding peaks. The climb involved navigating glaciers, crevasses, and steep slopes. AAT's safety briefings and constant supervision instilled confidence. Their climbing gear rentals were top-notch, ensuring optimal performance on the mountain.

I was a little anxious since I was just one young female trekker on the Annapurna Base Camp trip. However, Rohit cared about my thoughts and sought to customise the package to suit my wishes. Bomjan, who was my guide, did a fantastic job for me. He was well-informed, patient, and quick to ensure I never felt anxious or uneasy on the trail. They continued to help me find company with people who went at the same pace, which made the evenings even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Rohit for any adventurous souls and mostly for solo travellers.

This 2 Days Poon Hill Trekking wasn't just about the mountains; it was about experiencing the unique culture of Nepal, i.e., the Gurung Culture. Adventure Altitude ensured we had opportunities to interact with the locals. We visited traditional villages, enjoyed authentic Nepali meals, and learned a few basic Nepali phrases. My guide, Santosh, was rich in knowledge about Nepalese culture and history. These cultural experiences added depth and meaning to the trek, making it more than a physical challenge.

The acclimatization schedule was crucial. AAT ensured we spent enough time adjusting to the altitude to avoid altitude sickness. The Base Camp provided a comfortable haven, and the food was surprisingly delicious—a welcome surprise at such a high altitude. Climbing Island Peak was a true adventure, pushing my physical and mental limits. AAT's professionalism and genuine care for our well-being made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend them to anyone considering Island Peak. 

A 17-day trekking tour to the Gokyo-Chola-Pass region of the Himalayas organised by Adventure Altitude was indeed the most wonderful and magnificent trip I have ever had. They provided great service. I was most impressed with the guide's knowledge. The company crew members, including the tour organiser Rohit, were great and always there to lend their support. These people never fail to implement the necessary work to welcome us to the glorious nature. Every day, new food and fresh fruit variants, even at high altitudes, help us maintain the same level of energy and power. I have never been on such an all-inclusive and well-organised trip as Adventure Altitude Treks has put together. Thankyou for the amazing trip.
