As a father and son team, we could not ask for a better adventure than the Everest Base Camp trek with Adventure Altitude Treks. Rohit set the trip up so perfectly for my son and me to have such a safe journey that was still packed with adventure. Every step from Lukla to Base camp is fun as if you were on school holidays when you were 10 again. But it is even more rewarding for me as a father, watching my son enjoying so much on this trip. Either sharing hot tea, looking at Ama Dablam, standing at the base of Everest, or whatever. It has been locked in my memory, slotting this "holiday" into our relationship bank forever.

Being a photographer by profession, the trekking of the 17-day Gokyo Chola pass with Adventure Altitude Treks was, of course, my bucket list turned into the truth. The mountainous terrain, dotted with mossy valleys and glacial screes, provided great media for photography. The opportunity from Gokyo Ri and the sunrise, a nice contrast of the dark blue lakes with the saturated pink, was so beautiful. I spent the canoe trip along the Rapti River observing the most diverse birds, including the colourful kingfishers and the giant egrets. The cultural feature of the nearby Tharu tribe was the cake topper - the chance to learn about their everyday life and enjoy their tribal dance made it fun. The food which was prepared there would be delicious enough, and the chef in the area would use fresh ingredients. The lodge was a cosy place to stay, and it was a great relief after a long day of enjoying the excitement of the jungle. I am just back from one of those unbelievable 8 Days Muktinath Tour organised by Adventure Altitude Treks.
