To best describe Adventure Altitude Treks' tour of Kailash Mansarovar in 10 days from Australia, it was the perfect combination of high-altitude trekking (incredible scenery minus the altitude sickness) and cultural experiences.

The overland route from Kathmandu through Kyirong, Saga and Mansarovar offered many wonderful views, as well as some trekking thrills such as the trek over Dolma La Pass at 5630m high.

The guides were all extremely well-informed and very supportive, which really made for a demanding trek even easier. The down days with driving and trekking gave me a perfect mixture of adventure and rest, with the added "bonus" of being in some very sacred places, which gives a special quality to the physical challenges we faced. Highly recommended for the adventurous and active traveller.

Most of all, I liked their understanding of our cultural and spiritual needs. The journey from Kathmandu is very well planned and takes care of all permits without any hassle. Pemba, our guide, was excellent as he provided us insight into local people and his knowledge of knowledge in spirituality, which made me feel soul-to-soul connected with this beautiful human being. Accommodations in such remote areas and food habits were well managed per guest’s requirements & availability of raw materials. 

Back from the 12-day Kailash Saga Dawa Festival Tour with Adventure Altitude Treks, it indeed was a lifetime experience. First class, right from comprehensive pre-trip briefing down to minute details entailed in following an itinerary. The guides were experienced, deeply respectful of the culture and tradition, and added so much value to the tour. Indeed, the trek around Mt. Kailash was a challenging one: great, the team worked out proper schedules for our safety acclimatization. Accommodation was comfortable, and food came as a pleasant surprise-great taste, even in very remote areas at times. The Saga Dawa Festival was the spiritual culmination, and all this became my dream journey fulfilled by Adventure Altitude Treks.

Private Kailash Mansarovar yatra -10 days was an excellent organization by Adventure Altitude Treks. It all appeared well planned out and hassle-free, from the pick up in Kathmandu to crossing the border. It was also a good opportunity to get acclimatised in our own vehicle, without a guide. The silence at Lake Mansarovar was unforgettable. Throughout the kora, the team monitored my pace, meals and oxygen requirements. All around, quite comforting.

The 10-day Everest Base Camp and Mount Kailash trek with Adventure Altitude Treks was not to be missed. The scenery, monasteries, and villages en route were breathtaking. The trekking around Mount Kailash was challenging but spiritually uplifting, and the climb up to Everest Base Camp was a breathtaking accomplishment. The guides were excellent support, and the lodges were far better than expected. This trek offers the ideal blend of culture and nature, and therefore it is a must-visit for all adventure lovers. The 10-day Mount Kailash and Everest Base Camp tour with Adventure Altitude Treks was truly a lifetime experience.

My trip with Adventure Altitude Treks to Kailash Mansarovar was magical. Being a senior, I required special care, and the team ensured that – right from luxury stays, medical help, and individual attention; everything was taken care of. The Kora of Mount Kailash was still better as we had the support of horses and porters, and the spiritual rituals at Lake Mansarovar were overwhelming. The guides were excellent – well-informed and supportive. An adventure combined with spirituality, just what a senior would wish! Definitely recommend this one …!

My 12-Day Kailash Saga Dawa Festival Tour operated by Adventure Altitude Treks was something else. Since I arrived in Nepal, this company has been faultless in support: well-organized, they arrange for smooth transfers, comfortable sleeping, and great food along the way. The main highlight of this tour was the Saga Dawa Festival at Mt. Kailash, which was an utter spirituality and a cultural spectacle. Knowledgeable, caring, and attentive anytime, especially for the state of our health with the high-altitude trek, guides provided oxygen cylinders, regular checks of our health, and expert advice on acclimatization. Adventure Altitude Treks made me feel secure and taken care of with every step. The tour combined perfectly elements of adventure, spirituality, and comfort. Recommended!

The Langtang Gosaikunda Trek made me feel calm inside. It was the quiet Gosainkunda lakes with snowy mountains all around that helped me forget about my busy life back home. Rohit and his team at Adventure Altitude Treks ensured the program went smoothly, which let me really enjoy the spiritual feeling of this place. Guides were knowledgeable about local culture and explained why this area is essential for people living in it. Hiking itself isn't easy work, but it was worth it. Team helped us so much, and it became an unforgettable trip for me.
