My husband and I, both in our 60s but not experienced hikers, started the ten-day Poonhill Trek. This was set up for us by Adventure Altitude Treks, with Rohit leading the way while Ramesh showed us where to go. The hike was hard but fit our fitness. It gave a fun challenge that paid off in the end. Our helper, Santosh, was very important in making the trip something we won't forget. His knowledge and help were way better than we thought, ensuring everything was ready. We were always lucky with good weather, making the amazing views and walking journey even better. Everything related to logistics, like booking and planning on-site details, went as expected. Rohit led Adventure Altitude Treks, and they were a good, trusted trekking company in Nepal. This was my first long trek, and I can say that the Annapurna Base Camp Trekking Itinerary was lovely and unforgettable. From the first booking process, Rohit helped me with all my questions and customised a suitable package. Recently, I finished the 10-day Poon Hill Trek on Ghorepani. It was organised by Adventure Altitude Treks and led by Rohit, with Ramesh as our guide. As soon as Rohit greeted me at the Kathmandu airport, I knew everything would be fine. Ramesh, my guide, was exceptional. His hard work was clear when he went through the rain for me and got a raincoat during an unplanned heavy fall. At Poon Hill, he took amazing pictures. As we went down, my legs started to hurt, and Ramesh kindly took over carrying my bags so I could keep going. The journey was a good mix of professional planning and amazing scenery. I suggest doing this hike with Adventure Altitude Treks and the great help of Ramesh.

As soon as we left the ground, I was grasped by the magnificent sight of the Himalayas, mesmerising my senses. The crew's professionalism also had a confidence factor, and their knowledge about this particular region added to the depth of the journey. Each second we flew over the mountains and valleys formed by glaciers had an almost dreamlike quality. An approach close to Everest Base Camp gave me a precious opportunity to see the mythical mountain. Even though it was a short trip, I will never forget what happened to me there, and this has made my desire for more visits. A true lifetime adventure.

I booked a 2 Days Poon Hill Trek from Pokhara with Adventure Altitude Treks. I was super impressed by the state of the accommodations and the food: they were both clean and comfortable, and the meals were simple but yummy. Kumar was my guide, and he was outstanding. He made us walk steadily, described the plants and animals we met, and even helped me bargain with the local shop owners at Ghorepani. Sunrise at Poon Hill was indescribable, but the snow-covered Himalayan peaks looked like they were on fire, giving off a warm glow. Such a trek would make you aware that the magnificence of Nepal is not only for the wealthiest.
